Thanks for stopping by my website! I'm thrilled to celebrate nearly twelve years of running creative workshops in Queensland with some of Australia's most exceptional tutors. 

I started this adventure in Mt Tamborine under the name Wisteria Cottage Fine Art Workshops, inspired by the beautiful English wisteria vine outside our studio, and I wanted to learn from the best tutors available.

Sadly, after fifteen years on the mountain and nearly two hundred workshops later, we decided to move closer to the sea for health reasons. So, three years ago, our family took the leap and moved the studio and our home to the fantastic Moreton Bay Region of Qld.

Most of our followers know we are a small boutique art facilitator, focusing our energies on providing a personalised experience for all our creatives, whether it's a workshop or an art retreat.

My story:
I have been involved in the arts for over thirty years, and have been holding exhibitions of my art for the last fifteen. This all began with my love of creativity setting in at an early age, as I studied commercial art at East Sydney Technical College in Sydney straight from school. I then redirected my creative urges toward photography and explored the world through a lens for many years as a commercial photographer, driven by the need to support a young family.  I also have a commercial background in finance, investment, logistics and stockbroking.

Returning to my love and passion for creating around twenty years ago is still an intense itch. I love sharing my knowledge and struggles through teaching oils and acrylics to students, as well as mentoring those who attend our retreats.

Primarily, I am a landscape artist who loves seascapes, the outback, and nature. Feel free to explore my work in the Gallery, and if you have a commission piece that you would like painted, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
